Project2013
The aim of the project was to renovate the interior of the original building into a new modern Furniture and Living Shopping Centre. The object is divided into two structurally, functionally, communicatively and purposefully interconnected units. The entrance part of the SC consists of a vestibule, a central sales area, perimeter sales areas, social facilities for visitors and staff of the SC. The administrative facilities are part of the side wing, which also houses the SC shop window presentation.
The building-interior structures of the main shopfront window glazing and the ceiling composition consist of arched, over-shaped wooden glued beams with a so-called inverted – admitted wooden ceiling and design steel static elements.
As the main exhibition space, the SC sales hall is clearly divided into sales areas of a perimeter and central layout.
A special feature of the interior layout is the newly designed acoustic ceiling solution. Depending on the requirements of the statics and the minimum load on the original roof structure, the ceiling is represented by a full two-level lowering. The material used is a special ultra-lightweight large-format panel ceiling Techstyle Hunter Douglass white with the possibility of panel tilting for servicing technological installations.
